  • Who: Stephen McCarthy

Towards the end of 2012, following an unprecedented open and honest development process, Government Digital Services (GDS) officially launched GOV.UK, “The best place to find government services and information”.  In April this year GOV.UK was heralded by the Design Museum as the Design of the Year 2013.

We are delighted to welcome GDS Senior Visual Designer Stephen McCarthy to Belfast for our first Anatomy of Design talk. Stephen will be talking about the design principles applied to GOV.UK and the challenges the team experienced along the way. This is a fantastic opportunity to hear from someone at the coal-face of public sector online services. And also a chance to delve deeper into the processes involved in a project of this scale.
