For the BBC, he worked on their first Global Visual Language (now known as GEL) and has since helped with its evolution. As lead designer at YouView Matt helped create and steer the new IPTV platform from inception to launch.

Matt has just started working with Sky.

He will be talking about the process of creating, managing and implementing design systems in complex products and large organisations; the mistakes he’s made and how good design makes everything look easy. He’ll also talk about how making good things happen is hard.
